If you've read my recent muse university post, you know that I love the lights of the holiday season. It doesn't matter what kind... they bring a spot of brightness and cheer into our otherwise long dark nights this time of year in the northern hemisphere. There are so many ways to capture and portray the season in lights!

Kat, I really have become very into night photography with all your encouragement....and what a gorgeous example.
I was so looking forward to start with 9 Muses Musing yesterday and then I completely missed it, and when I opened the blog this morning to catch up, what a surprise to see a very familiar photo apprearing before my eyes! Thank you for chosing my picture for featuring on the blog for today's prompt! :-)
That night was the first time that I tried out my new 50mm lens which I had just bought the day before, and I absolutely love it! As I already missed yesterday and will probably be too busy to take any photos today, I'm posting one taken at the same night for today's prompt. I'm looking forward to the next 16 days and hope to keep up :-)

This is a wonderful time of year to capture the beauty found in the night. But it' soooo cold outside right now. :) Thanks for continuing to inspire us to find the beauty even in the dark.

Christmas lights are awesome... the bokeh is gorgeous!
The more light the better in these short days of winter. I am very inspired by all the creative takes on this theme.
Night photography is something I really need to work on. I don't think my old camera is up to it. I love looking at all the beautiful images that linked up.
