many muses musing - SURPRISE

Surprise

surprise by jessicavescera

What I love most about Christmas time is you never know what to expect. A surprise makes me even more giddy in the time leading to Christmas day. They are never disappointing. And I love surprising others even more than opening my own surprise gifts. This year it may be the best surprise to finally lay eyes on my soon-to-be-born son.

And as much as I love surprises this is my surprise for you! I am giving away $50 gift certificate from Paper Coterie. In order to enter into this giveaway please link your blog or flickr url in the linky provided below and/or leave a comment on this post for a chance to win. (Max 2 entries per person.)
I am so looking forward to see all your beautiful SURPRISE entries :)

Your creative holiday prompt for tomorrow is: WONDER.

Love,
Suki by Sukiphotographyblog

Thank you for featuring my shot of my youngest son, Joe. The kid is just as crazy as he looks. He makes a lot of people laugh everyday.

As soon as I saw that picture, I remembered our son's first Christmas. He was 9 months old, couldn't quite walk yet. (He's 32. Oh, my....I'm getting tears in my eyes now...) My husband bought one of those "spring" play horses from a coworker. It was in nearly perfect condition. He cleaned it and applied some paint in the two places that it was a little rough. We put it next to the tree. He came in on Christmas morning. His eyes were wide. I picked him up and showed him what to do. He tried it and proceeded to "ride." What a memory. Now if my son and his fiance would just get busy...... I'm planning on a spring horse for their first.
