Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And mamma in her ’kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.
Twas the Night Before Christmas by Clement Clarke Moore
I love this poem, not just for the reindeer and Santa’s antics, but because of the cosy feeling that it conjures, just before he arrives. However you are celebrating over this festive time, I hope you will be able to experience that warm, snug feeling with your family and friends. Please share some of those moments by linking your blog or flickr url in the link below and/or leaving a comment on this post for a chance to win the giveaway.

Nice post. That is a cute t-shirt!
COZY is the reason I love Christmas and winter so much. I'm a homebody and have always loved warm clothes, soft blankets, and warm drinks. I love all things cozy. ;-) Your collage is beautiful!
thank you again.
you know when I would feel 100% cosy?? snuggled up with a cup of hot tea, watching the snow falling silently. it always calms me down. I'd love white christmas but I don't think we'ree getting it this year ;)

Hmmmm, here in south Florida, it doesn't get so cozy. But we do our best to make "snow." My version here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/squeeekphoto/6542018413/
thank you for including my photo, Kirstin... :)))
I love the summer and the sun but in the winter when our cottage is warm and cosy with the woodburner glowing and the curtains drawn I love that too.
I've always loved that poem - it really does bring back that feeling of wonderful anticipation I had as a child when I still believed in Santa! Nice collage of photos, too.
Wonderful images--and I especially like the non-committal stockings ;)
My pups are always the most cosy!!
