Warmth. At first I thought of candles and steaming cups of tea. Perfect for this time of year, when all I want to do is snuggle up under a quilt to warm my cold feet. Then I closed my eyes and thought, What says warmth to me? A vision of white and blue, at the sea. That was the image my heart whispered to me. So I went to my archive, with my chilly toes and cup of tea, and found this vision of the Aegean Sea.
And as I looked through the Flickr pool, Skiingrn1's sunny image jumped out at me. Maybe it was the color, so similar to mine. Maybe the season, all summer sunshine. Both a vision of another season, so quickly behind us, providing echoes of warmth for the months ahead.
Close your eyes, can't you feel the sun?

How I would love to feel that warmth someday! Gorgeous photos!
These images look terribly inviting, especially after just having walked the dog in my winter jacket!!! Why do I live in such a cold climate anyway???? Thanks for these warming captures today!
Blue and white together are my favorite color combination!! Both lovely photos!!
Oh yes! I can feel the sun, Kat! Glorious!
I can feel the sun! Wish I was in either of those places right now--it's dreary here today :)
Happy memories. Vacation photos can take us back to a warm place, if only for a minute. Thank you for choosing my photo to include in your musing. I now have the strong urge to go somewhere warm!
Love this picture made me smile immediately! Would love to wake up to it every day=)
